A Summary of Recreational Course Lengths
– Group Coaching is available for 1 day or more
– Private Coaching is available for 1 day or more, charged at the 2-diver rate
– Primers (Discover, drysuit, doubles, nav, rescue, triox, gas blender) are 1-2 days each
– Fundamentals (normal schedule) is 4 days
– Fundamentals (immersion week) is 6 continuous days: includes extra training and practical/experience dives.
– Fundamentals Part 1 is 2 days
– Fundamentals Part 2 is 2-3 days, depending upon the logistics of the location
– Fundamentals Upgrades / Provisional Evaluations are special, see here
– Rec 1 – Learn to Dive (normal schedule) is 6 days
– Rec 2 and Rec 3 (normal schedule) are 6 days each
– DPV1 is 3 days, some classes will add a 4th day for additional experience dives
– Documentation Diver is 4-5 days depending on location
A Summary of Cave/Tech Course Lengths
– Cave 1, Cave 2, Tech 1 are 6 days each
– If needed for contingencies outside of our control, 7th day no additional tuition
– Cave Triox Upgrade is 1 day
– Cave Try-Dives (non-certification) is 1-2 days. For 2 day or longer program, a portion of your tuition may be credited towards a future cave class with Wet Rocks Diving, inquire when booking.
– Cave DPV is 5 days.
